What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring any referral letters from your doctor, relevant scan results (such as X-rays or MRIs), and a list of any medications you are currently taking. Comfortable clothing that allows access to the area being treated is also recommended.
Do I need a GP referral to see a physiotherapist?
No, you do not need a referral to see us as a private patient. However, if you are claiming through Workers Compensation, CTP or DVA; a referral from your GP is required.
Are your services covered by health insurance?
Yes, most private health insurance providers cover physiotherapy treatments. Coverage depends on your specific policy, so we recommend checking with your insurer beforehand.
How long is a typical appointment?
Initial consultations generally take 30-60 minutes to allow for a comprehensive assessment and treatment plan. Follow-up appointments are typically 30-45 minutes.
